Banksy became popular after his arts propped up in secret on the streets of London and New York. His intriguing and powerful artworks have drawn both admiration and admonition in equal measure, from city officials to art lovers. A mysterious graffiti artist from London, he went from a vandal to celebrated artist. Either loved or loathed, Banksy brings out the voice of the voiceless in some way.
